4th Annual — Event Rebranded (Formerly the MIT Female Founder's Pitch Competition)

Women receive less than 3% of VC funding. The MIT Women's Venture Challenge — co-founded by Peter — is the MIT Sloan Club of NY's flagship initiative: an annual pitch competition, VC roundtable, and networking event designed to change the ratio. $23,000 in total prizes.

Less than 3% of VC funding goes to women. Let's change the ratio!

Now in its fourth year, the event brings together female founders, investors, and industry leaders at Deutsche Bank Center in Columbus Circle. Past winners have built companies ranging from biotech diagnostics to sustainable fashion.

Winner Autonomo Technologies advanced to the Grand Finale in San Francisco. 350+ founders, investors, and innovation leaders attended.

The 3rd Annual event expanded the prize pool with the addition of the GLAM4GOOD Social Good Prize — a $10,000 grant for ventures with measurable social impact. $45,000+ in total prizes and consulting.
